Be advised that the Board has implemented an enrolment cap at Pope Francis to
minimize enrolment pressures at the school. Details of the enrolment cap are as follows:
1. Junior Kindergarten enrolment at Pope Francis CES is capped at 101 students annually.
In the event that Junior Kindergarten students who reside in the Pope Francis CES
attendance area cannot be accommodated at the school, they will be accepted at
St. Stephen CES, with transportation provided.
first serve basis at Pope Francis, if space is available within the existing classes.
Any SK-8 students who reside in the Pope Francis CES attendance area and are not able to
attend Pope Francis will be accepted at St. Stephen CES, with transportation provided.
for JK registrations is March 1, 2025. If the number of JK registrations as of March 1, 2025
is 101 or less, a lottery will not be held.
IF the number of JK registrations as of March 1, 2025 is greater than 101,
a lottery will be held in accordance with past practice.
Registrations received after March 1st 2025 will be reviewed for acceptance if space is available
in the order in which they are received.
